Make the everyday work
Ojén village has established streets, local restaurants and a traditional hillside setting. Palo Alto offers a different residential environment below it. Compare shared facilities, outdoor space, neighbours and the practical journey to Marbella; the same municipal name does not mean the same daily routine.
The council describes Ojén as a gateway from the coast towards the Sierra de las Nieves. Explore the routes appropriate to your plans and check access from the property. La Mairena is a separate hillside location reached from the Marbella East side; it should not be confused with either the village centre or Palo Alto.
Start with the school and activities you would actually use, then test the journey from the property at your usual time. Include parking, drop-off queues and the return trip. Confirm places and transport arrangements directly with the school.
