The centre and Los Boliches combine established streets with the seafront and everyday services. The El Higuerón search area includes elevated residential developments near the boundary with Benalmádena. Sea views and facilities there come with a different relationship to the town centre; check the slope and route rather than relying on the area label.

Fuengirola’s promenade is a useful way to explore the town’s coastal neighbourhoods. Rail services connect the town with Benalmádena, Torremolinos, the airport and Málaga. Check the current service and the door-to-station journey. For a quieter property, visit at evening as well as during the day.
