For a permanent home, test the drive into Estepona for school, shopping and after-school activities. Colegio San José’s Estepona campus is on Avenida Litoral; the Selwo and Atalaya schools are farther east along the coast. A west-side home may suit your routine very well, but the school journey deserves a real test before making a shortlist.

West offers a different balance from the town’s walkable streets or the east-side route towards Marbella.
